Navy 10: Compostable items, such as paper, napkins, food and food scraps, cardboard, and newspaper are put into this machine to be pulped. The pulp is sent through the waste water system which is discharged into the ocean at a specific nautical mileage. The pulp must be only organic material and is intended to biodegrade or be eaten by animals.
