Cory Schlesinger provides winning margin in Orange Bowl

Jan. 1, 1995: Nebraska won its first national title in 22 years on the back of Tommie Frazier, but fullback Cory Schlesinger gave the Huskers their first lead in the fourth quarter with a 14-yard touchdown run, minutes after running for a 15-yard run that brought the Huskers to within 17-15, 17-17 after a two-point conversion. The second TD gave them a 24-17 lead, and the defense held on for the title, the first of Tom Osborne's career.
