I Am A World Champion: Super Bowl championship quarterbacks

Phil Simms
New York Giants | Super Bowl XXIFor some quarterbacks, the pressure of playing in a Super Bowl is just too much to handle. Phil Simms was not one of those quarterbacks. On the biggest stage -- Super Bowl XXI -- Simms had his biggest game, torching the Denver Broncos' defense for a decisive 268 yards and three TDs. Yet even more impressive than his total yards or TDs were his correct decisions. The Giants' QB completed 22 of 25 passes and recorded a smoldering 150.9 passer rating. It was a performance Bill Parcells would call "the best game a quarterback has ever played." Simms was named MVP, and the Giants rolled to a 39-20 win.
