From the mouths of babes. Miles opened a card that daughter Macy Grace gave him which listed some of his attributes: loving, crazy, risk-taker and family guy (not the TV show).
LSU fans have come to love -- and sometimes loathe -- Miles' crazy, risk-taking ways as a football coach, but Macy Grace's assessment seemed awfully perceptive. At what age did his youngest daughter come to identify her dad as a crazy risk-taker?
"I do not know, because this is an old stinking card," Miles laughed. "It's been here for quite some time, and she's 11."
She signed off, "From your fave daughter, to Daddy, Les Miles," and he still keeps it near his desk years later.
"You want me to tell you what? This is really the best," Miles said.
