17. Missouri
Frank Haith turned in one of the top coaching performances in the country last season by leading the Tigers to a 30-5 record in his first season in Columbia. The question now is whether he can do it again. Even with the loss of Kim English, Marcus Denmon and Ricardo Ratliffe, Missouri will boast one of the country's deepest teams thanks to an influx of transfers who could help Haith's squad contend for a conference title in its first season in the SEC. Alex Oriakhi (UConn), Earnest Ross (Auburn), Jabari Brown (Oregon) and Keion Bell (Pepperdine) are all expected to either start or earn quality minutes. The strength of the team, however, will be a backcourt that includes point guard Phil Pressey, the SEC's preseason player of the year. The pieces are in place. Haith's biggest task will be meshing them into one cohesive unit.
