Electric Vehicle Charging Stations: In 2011, LSU partnered with Entergy Louisiana LLC to install two new electric vehicle charging stations on campus. These EV chargers provide free power to students, faculty and staff who own electric vehicles, and they also enable university departments, such as the Center for Energy Studies, to collect usage data and conduct critical research about the chargers' impact on consumers and the electric grid.
