CGD Eco Challenge

Spring Greening Day: The annual Spring Greening Day allows the campus community to make a service contribution to campus beautification. More than 300 volunteers help beautify the campus through annual and perennial plantings and spreading mulch to preserve campus live oaks. By participating in the project, students, faculty and staff work together and actively contribute to keeping LSU a beautiful place to study, live, and work. The Sustainability Expo at Spring Greening Day provides an opportunity for the campus and surrounding community to learn more about sustainability efforts, locally and nationally, as well as proper recycling procedures.
