David Amerson
Cornerback | NC StateIn 2010, David Amerson was one of five true freshmen to start for NC State and a little-known boundary corner who finished the season with one pass breakup in 640 plays. Last year, Amerson made sure everyone knew his name. Now it's in the record book. Amerson set ACC and school season records for interceptions with 13, a mark that led the nation by five and tied for second in FBS history. He had two picks in four games, and all were wins for NC State. He finished with 59 tackles and was twice named the ACC's defensive back of the week.
