Safety | USCAn aggressive and hard-hitting free safety who will be the leader of the Trojans' defense, T.J. McDonald enters his third season as a starter with 163 career tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, two blocked punts and six interceptions. A two-time team captain, he was named to multiple All-America teams following the 2011 season, joining his father, Tim (1983-86), as the only father-son duo in Trojans history to be All-Americans and team captains. McDonald is a candidate for the Thorpe Award and Lott Trophy. His brother, Tevin, is a starting safety at UCLA.
