Johnthan Banks
Cornerback | Mississippi StateEven though Tyrann Mathieu was the one getting most of the publicity prior to his dismissal from LSU, Mississippi State's Johnthan Banks was and is the SEC's best true cornerback. The 6-foot-2, 185-pound senior has 12 career interceptions, and he's taken three of those back for touchdowns. He obviously has excellent ball skills, but he's also not afraid to mix it up in run support. He was second among SEC cornerbacks with 71 total tackles last season, including eight for loss. Banks is as versatile as he is good. He made the switch from safety following an outstanding freshman season and is also one of the SEC's most dangerous punt returners.
