ESPN.com's 2012 All-America Team

Sam Montgomery
Defensive end | LSUBlocking Sam Montgomery has become an even bigger task for LSU's opponents. The junior from Greenwood, S.C., checked in at 260 pounds this August, 15 pounds heavier than last season's listed weight. He claims the added pounds were not at the expense of his speed. His best attribute, however, is his relentless pursuit; he piled up a team-best nine sacks and 13.5 tackles for loss while earning second-team All-America honors in 2011. Defenses can't key on Montgomery because LSU's other starting DE is Barkevious Mingo, who might be an even better pure pass rusher.
