I Am A World Champion: Super Bowl championship quarterbacks

Len Dawson
Kansas City Chiefs | Super Bowl IVAt a time when people thought the AFL couldn't compete with the NFL, Len Dawson was there to prove them wrong. The Kansas City Chiefs may have lost the first Super Bowl to Bart Starr and the Packers, but Dawson had a different outcome in mind against the Minnesota Vikings in Super Bowl IV. Dawson threw for 172 yards and a TD, earning the title of Super Bowl MVP as the Chiefs dominated the Vikings 23-7. This victory put to rest any doubts about the AFL's ability to compete with the NFL, and the leagues merged the following season.
