I Am A World Champion: Super Bowl championship quarterbacks

Earl Morrall
Baltimore Colts | Super Bowl VSuper Bowl III was supposed to be Earl Morrall's championship. After he led the Colts to a 13-1 regular-season record and two playoff victories, only the New York Jets stood in his way. Yet things did not go as planned. Morrall was intercepted in the second quarter, turning the game around, and the Colts were stunned by the Jets, 16-7. But it wouldn't be Morrall's last shot at glory. Two years later, with Johnny Unitas exiting in the second quarter of Super Bowl V due to injury, backup Morrall marched onto the field. Making all the right decisions against the Cowboys, he orchestrated a come-from-behind performance, and Baltimore ultimately won the game, 16-13.
