One of Richt's most prized possessions in his office is Christ Crucified, a portrait of Jesus Christ, which was given to him by the painter Steve Penley, a University of Georgia graduate. Penley painted a smaller version of the portrait to hang in Richt's office. Three other Penley works hang in Richt's office.
"We actually have a larger version of it not only in our church but also in our home," Richt said.
