Inside Gary Andersen's Office - View 1

A placard to the right of Andersen's office door lists Wisconsin's six core values. The placard also is displayed in each coach's office, in the locker room, and in other key spots in the facility.
"I want the kids to see them daily," Andersen said.
Andersen started with four values when he became a head coach at Utah State: Honesty, treat women with respect, no drugs, no stealing. Three years ago, he added two more: consistently improve my mind and body, and respect and care for my teammates.
If something strikes him as important enough, the list could grow to seven.
"They're quick and easy, and to the point," Andersen said. "But they are the core of our program."
