Inside Urban Meyer's Office - View 3
- His Favorite Trophy
- Coaching Fraternity
- Presidential Run-Ins

There is no shortage of trophies to display and Meyer has been honored as the national coach of the year a couple of times.
But there's one honor for his contributions on the sideline that stands out to him thanks to the name on the award, calling back to his childhood and reinforcing the responsibility that comes with his current job.
"That Woody Hayes Trophy," Meyer said. "It's completely different. That's my childhood icon growing up."
If the life-size statue of the Ohio State legend Meyer sees outside the practice facility every day when he drives to work doesn't remind him of the standard set before him or the expectations at such a storied program, the small trophy honoring the top collegiate coach in the country sitting in the corner of his office does the trick.
