More than memorabilia or jewelry or anything else Meyer could put up in his office, pictures are what he treasures most.
They are everywhere, celebrating family, friendships, former players -- even Jimmy Buffett makes a couple of appearances on the shelves.
But not counting those of his wife, Shelley, or the kids, the snapshots with coaching legends Bobby Bowden and Joe Paterno are among Meyer's favorites, and they're hard to miss.
"The two all-time winning coaches, great friends of mine," Meyer said. "I love them. Every year we would go on a Nike trip together. Really good friends, but not just good friends, great people.
"It was kind of amusing, I was at Florida and Bobby was at Florida State, so we were supposed to hate each other. But we became very close friends."
