2014 NBA playoffs: Miami Heat during the Big Three era

June 20, 2013
Spurs-Heat, Game 7
It was only fitting this classic clash would come down to a single game.
Still feeling the sting of the Game 6 ending, the Spurs managed to stay close despite six 3-pointers from Shane Battier, setting up two defining moments in this game.
First, it was a rare miss from a legend. Tim Duncan missed a hook shot, then an easy putback attempt over an outstretched Battier. Bosh rebounded the miss, which would have tied the score at 90-90 with 42 seconds left. Following a Heat timeout, LeBron squared up for a jumper behind a scrambling Spurs defense and nailed a 19-foot jumper that extended Miami's lead to four with 27 seconds left.
The Heat would celebrate their second consecutive championship after Game 7. But it was Game 6 that will forever be remembered as the game that won Miami the title.
