17. Marquette
Buzz Williams squad shocked the field when it reached the Elite Eight last season. But as the favorite to win the Big East title, the Golden Eagles wont surprise anyone in 2013-14. Davante Gardner, Jamil Wilson and Chris Otule form the leagues most talented and experienced frontcourt. Gardner has lost some weight, which should help him stay on the floor this year. Marquette, however, lost more than 30 PPG when Junior Cadougan, Vander Blue and Trent Lockett left. So the Golden Eagles will need freshmen JaJuan Johnson and Deonte Burton to excel early. It also would help if Todd Mayo finally found some consistency. -- Myron Medcalf
