Fight Credential: Mayweather vs. Alvarez

Versatility
To reach the heights to which Mayweather has climbed, he has had to overcome all kinds of opponents. That hard-earned experience has allowed him to control every fight and adapt to any style in the late stages of his career, dictating the pace of combat to his pleasing. Alvarez has many assets and continues to show noticeable improvement in certain areas, but he can hardly be characterized as versatile. Whether he lacks the ability or simply hasn't been forced yet to adjust or improvise on the fly, Canelo doesn't come close in this department.
Advantage: Mayweather
