Fight Credential: Mayweather vs. Alvarez

Stamina
Nearly every great fighter has a reserve tank he can count on for the final stretch of a grueling battle. Mayweather's is seldom needed, but he maintains a superb level of cardio in case it is. Although Alvarez is well seasoned and has gone the 12-round distance in five of his past eight bouts, he has been troubled by perceptible lulls in the middle rounds of some fights, most recently against Austin Trout. He continues to show more savvy over time, but if there were a master class taught on rationing energy in the ring, he would be the student and Mayweather the professor.
Advantage: Mayweather
