Damontre Moore
Defensive line | Texas A&MLost in Manziel-mania has been the performance of Moore, one of the nation's best defensive ends from start to finish. "Consistency" was the key word for Moore coming into the season, as coach Kevin Sumlin looked for Moore to become a constant force as a pass-rusher, moving from outside linebacker in the 3-4 to defensive end in the 4-3.
Moore answered the call, leading the Aggies in tackles (80) while ranking in the top five nationally in sacks (12.5) and tackles for loss (20). The 6-4, 250-pound junior's performance didn't net any major awards but has him in the conversation to be a first-round pick in the upcoming NFL draft should he choose to enter.
