CGD Eco Challenge

Mug Project: Launched by UT Recycling and Volunteer Dining in 2011, The Mug Project is an effort by Facilities Services and Volunteer Dining to reduce beverage container waste. At participating Volunteer Dining locations, customers receive discounts for taking and using a reusable mug when purchasing fountain drinks, coffee, etc. As of August 2012, The Mug Project has diverted over 40,000 single-use beverage containers from the landfill.
