The Ukraine-born Klitschko helped usher in an era of super-size heavyweights whose skills and athleticism are sometimes overlooked. That said, it's nearly impossible, literally, to get past the dimensions: At 6-foot-7 and 240-plus pounds, Vitali keeps opponents at bay with a punishing jab and possesses some of the most dangerous power in boxing history (41 KOs in 45 wins).
In 2003, "Dr. Ironfist" challenged Lennox Lewis and was ahead on the judges' scorecards before falling by TKO due to a terrible cut over his left eye. It was Lewis' final fight, so when Klitschko fought again -- beating a legit contender in Corrie Sanders -- many concluded that Klitschko had re-established the heavyweight lineage.
