Hasim Rahman
2001
Rahman, of the U.S., stunned the boxing world in 2001 with a fifth-round knockout of heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis in South Africa. The fruits of his victory were short-lived, though, as Lewis exacted revenge just seven months later with a devastating knockout in the fourth round. "The Rock," who went on to claim a vacant alphabet title in 2005, unsuccessfully challenged for the lineal championship for the final time in a 2007 knockout loss to Wladimir Klitschko in Germany.
