Power
Cotto boasts a respectable 77 percent knockout rating, compared to Mayweather's 62 percent. But both fighters' power comes from the accumulation of punches, and although each owns respectable KO victories against high-profile opponents, they seem to lack one-punch knockout power -- at this weight and this stage of their careers, at least -- and tend to favor a cautious approach to offense (especially Cotto). Even so, Cotto outscores Mayweather in both hitting average and slugging percentage, so we have to assume that the naturally bigger Puerto Rican fighter deserves the edge here.
Advantage: Cotto
