Fight Credential

Experience
Cotto has clearly defeated every fighter he faced who held the same level of experience, including some surprisingly easy victories against foes who threatened to be much more difficult. He has adapted well to each new level of competition, and he has taken only two defeats, both against top fighters (and one of them of dubious legitimacy). Mayweather's list of victims couldn't be any better, and he still has a Pacquiao megabout to look forward to (we hope). Between the two of them, Mayweather and Cotto have routinely taken on the most important fighters in their respective divisions for the past decade or so, and both have faced every style imaginable. A dead heat.
