Corners
Cotto's relationships with his many trainers have always been stormy. After firing uncle and lifelong cornerman Evangelista Cotto and replacing him with a glorified aide in Joe Santiago, Cotto found a new mentor in legendary Emanuel Steward ... only to replace him on the first day of his training camp with Pedro Diaz (a respected Cuban trainer) before the Margarito rematch. In the opposite corner, despite his well-documented family woes, Mayweather has apparently found his center in his uncle Roger Mayweather. Fighter and trainer seem to complement each other well, and Roger brings an element of control and respect that Floyd Sr. seemed unable to achieve as his son's coach.
Advantage: Mayweather
