Linebacker | RutgersGreen, the Big East Co-Defensive Player of the Year, set a Rutgers bowl record with three tackles for loss in the Scarlet Knights' 27-13 victory over Iowa State in the New Era Pinstripe Bowl at Yankee Stadium. Green, a senior from Elizabeth, N.J., had 13 tackles before leaving the game with an ankle injury in the fourth quarter. The Scarlet Knights defense limited the Cyclones to 91 rushing yards and 311 yards of offense. Rutgers, which had played in one bowl game before 2005, improved to 5-1 in bowl games under coach Greg Schiano.
