Mike Martin
Defensive Tackle | MichiganMartin and the Wolverines' senior class ensured they would go out as victors in the Allstate Sugar Bowl. Like classmate Junior Hemingway on the offensive side, Martin delivered a big performance to trigger Michigan's run-stuffing efforts against Virginia Tech star David Wilson (3.4 yards per carry).
Martin recorded a season-high 10 tackles, matching his career best from 2009, and had half a sack in Michigan's 23-20 overtime win. He had a hand in four red zone tackles, including a fourth-and-1 stop against massive quarterback Logan Thomas at the Michigan 4-yard line. Martin was a huge reason why Virginia Tech scored just one touchdown on six red zone opportunities.
