43. Finish Them Off
Peter Warrick caps off national title with circus catchJan. 4, 2000: With Florida State leading feisty Virginia Tech 39-29 in the 2000 Sugar Bowl, Seminoles receiver Peter Warrick walked into the FSU huddle and asked his teammates, "Ya'll want me to finish them?" Warrick, who was deprived of the Heisman Trophy after he was suspended for an illegal shopping spree, did just that, catching a 43-yard touchdown while being interfered with and lifting the Seminoles to a 46-29 victory. FSU went wire to wire as the No. 1 team in the country, giving coach Bobby Bowden his second national title.
