47. Run In The Mud
Ken Stabler runs in lone score in Iron Bowl clashDec. 2, 1967: The playing surface at Legion Field had turned into a quagmire after days of rain, and neither offense could get untracked. Alabama finally got some decent field position after a mishandled punt snap, and quarterback Ken Stabler capitalized with his fabled "Run in the Mud." He kept the ball on an option play, got key blocks from Dennis Homan and Mike Hall and romped through the mud for the only touchdown of the game in a 7-3 win over Auburn.
