Peat feverishly studies film of linemen from all generations -- his father is former professional Todd Peat -- and the resulting benefits have shown up in his game. The Cardinal's line as a whole wasn't as good as units in years past, but Peat held up his end of the bargain, protecting Kevin Hogan with his powerful punch and cementing his status as one of the nation's best tackles.
