On one of the other bookshelves is a color photograph of some of the quarterbacks Richt coached at Florida State. Richt, who was an FSU assistant from 1990 to 2000, was blessed with a plethora of talented passers at Florida State.
In 1990, FSU's roster included 1993 Heisman Trophy winner Charlie Ward, 2000 Heisman Trophy winner Chris Weinke (who left the Seminoles to play pro baseball in 1990, only to return in 1997), 1991 Heisman runner-up Casey Weldon, and Brad Johnson, who led the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to a victory in Super Bowl XXXVII. Johnson is married to Richt's sister, Nikki.
