Saban's still learning the ins and outs of being a grandfather, but his eyes light up at the mere mention of 11-month-old Amélie, the daughter of Saban's son, Nicholas, and the coach's daughter-in-law, Kelsé.
"I'm getting the hang of it. I've got some good coaches," he says laughing.
That may be, but the whole grandfatherly image and thinking of Saban as "Pa Paw" is, as he would say, a process.
