Inside Les Miles' Office - View 3

Miles keeps a number of keepsakes from his 2006 USO Tour to the Middle East with former Notre Dame coach Lou Holtz and Tampa Bay Rays owner Vince Naimoli.
The weeklong trip took Miles to multiple U.S. bases in Kuwait and Iraq and even to an overnight stay in one of Saddam Hussein's palaces.
"Slept pretty good there," Miles said.
Among the items in the case from the USO are shells, hats, flags, coins, photographs and a football from a game on one of the bases that all of the military participants signed afterward.
"That was really, really fun," Miles said while looking at a photo from a meet-and-greet at one of the U.S. military bases. "This is a great, fun photo. These people here were so damn good. They are so well-trained and so talented."
