2014 NBA playoffs: Miami Heat during the Big Three era

March 6, 2011
Cry Babies
After an 87-86 home loss to the Chicago Bulls, in which LeBron missed a left-handed layup over Chicago's Joakim Noah late in the fourth, the Heat literally wept.
Well, at least according to head coach Erik Spoelstra, who said there were players in the locker room crying.
He didn't specify who, but he didn't have to. The image was already being painted in the minds of Heat detractors, who turned it into a question of toughness for Miami. As in, they have none.
After the game, LeBron also pledged to his team he wouldn't let them down in clutch situations again, as he had a few times in that season. The game and subsequent reaction might've brought the Heat hatred to an all-time high (well, at least a regular-season high), but it was also a unifying moment for the us-against-the-world Miami franchise.
