2014 NBA playoffs: Miami Heat during the Big Three era

Bike Ride & Leap Frog
He was safe, wearing a standard bike helmet. He was sleek, donning black, skin-tight gear from neck to ankles. And he was beating traffic. To get to a home game against the Bulls, with a marathon in Miami clogging up traffic, LeBron went with the two-wheel motion, riding his bike to the AmericanAirlines Arena.
It was about a three-mile trip, on a personalized bike that said "King James" on it. He said he'd done it before, and that he'd do it again. But there he was, Miami royalty, just pedaling through Miami traffic.
Of course, this was the game, too, in which LeBron, in the first quarter, caught an alley-oop pass from Wade one-handed and slammed it home. No big deal, right? Well, he did jump completely over the 5-foot-11 John Lucas III to do it. So, yes, kind of a big deal. And a play most consider to be the dunk of the year.
LeBron tried to go the humble route after the game, saying, "Give all the credit to D-Wade. I can't let D-Wade down and not go get it."
Well, not really. Wade's pass happens just about every NBA game. Jumping over another human for an emphatic finish? That happens, really, almost never.
Give all the props to King James. Or that pregame bike ride.
