NBA games are supposed to last 48 minutes. But for four straight matchups between the Thunder and Grizzlies in the opening round, 53 became the norm.
For the first time in NBA playoff history, four consecutive games went into extra time, and each one seemed to one-up the other with madness. The two teams basically played a 48-minute introduction -- and saved the actual game for five hellish minutes.
