5:22pm That will be all from us for today. We will be back tomorrow as West Indies look to press on further, and Bangladesh attempt to deny them. Until then, this is goodbye from Ranjith, Sreshth, Vairavan and myself. Take care, everyone!
5:20pm It was a bit of a slow-burn but as the third session progressed, West Indies began to assert their dominance. Neither of Athanaze or Louis could get to their maiden Test hundreds but they helped set a solid foundation, with the hosts now aiming for a score in excess of 350, at least, and ending the day perhaps the happier of the two.
Bangladesh did well to rein the hosts in for large swathes, but in the third session, the wheels started coming off. Yet, they picked up both set batters in quick succession and if they can make early inroads tomorrow, they will feel they can still keep West Indies down to under 300.
5:17pm The light meter is out again and the umpires have decided that will be that for the day. Stumps on day one and we lose out on six overs.
