Coach Steve Addazio wanted a new catchprase to symbolize his program when he took over last season. Nothing symbolizes Temple Tough and Philadelphia Proud better than the street sign on the corner of the football complex: 10th and Diamond.
The Owls featured the sign in their media guide last season and continue to show their pride in it as one of the most meaningful signs in the program. Addazio, a former offensive line coach, preaches toughness on a daily basis. His team plays in a tough, no-nonsense town. But it is a town filled with an overwhelming sense of pride.
That is what Addazio wants out of his team every single day. -- Andrea Adelson
