Roy Williams reluctantly played a four-guard lineup near the end of last season out of necessity. This year, the Tar Heels have enough frontcourt depth, led by forward James Michael McAdoo, that Williams can return to the traditional lineup he so desires. The addition of point guard Nate Britt to pair with Marcus Paige also means Williams can play at the fast pace he wants. P.J. Hairston, arguably Carolina's most gifted scorer, will be sitting out a yet-to-be determined amount of games after a summer of bad decisions.
