ESPN.com Power Rankings 2013

12. Ohio State
This is a unique Thad Matta team. He usually has a go-to scorer who is destined for the NBA -- early. But that's not the case this season, not after Deshaun Thomas opted to play professionally. But Matta actually might have a more balanced team. Aaron Craft can, within reason, be more of a scorer. He is still the anchor defensively. Lenzelle Smith Jr. and LaQuinton Ross will likely shine in more starring roles. If the Buckeyes can discover the hot hand and continue to be a tough defensive assignment, there is hope they will continue to be a Big Ten title contender. -- Andy Katz
