Fight Credential: Mayweather vs. Alvarez

Durability
It's difficult to land a punch against Mayweather. His defense is almost flawless, and his movement around the ring does the rest. But avoiding punishment and withstanding it are two different things. In perhaps the only true recent test of Mayweather's durability, Miguel Cotto stood in front of him and managed to hurt him. Alvarez, meanwhile, has some defensive deficiencies and hasn't been involved in many exchanges that have tested his toughness. Still, thanks to his appreciable size advantage, we give Alvarez a slight edge in this category.
Advantage: Alvarez
