Power
The numbers don't lie: Canelo Alvarez has won more than 70 percent of his fights by stoppage. Some of his opponents, such as Leonardo Herrera and Raul Pinzon, barely had time to step into the ring before hitting the canvas. Canelo has lethal punching power and typically takes control of the ring to put it to good use. Trout is no slouch as a puncher, but his power (53.9 percent KO rate) simply isn't in the same league as his opponents, and he isn't nearly as likely to score a one-punch knockout.
Advantage: Alvarez
