13. North Carolina
UNC has been in this situation before. In 2005-06, the Tar Heels lost six of their top seven scorers from Roy Williams' first national-title squad -- only to exceed expectations by winning 23 games. In 2009-10, however, the season went in the opposite direction: After losing four starters from Williams' second title team, the Heels fell out of the polls and had to settle for the NIT. Which way this season goes on the spectrum, after again losing four-fifths of last year's Elite Eight starting lineup, will depend largely on how quickly freshman point guard Marcus Paige adapts to being a college starter, how consistently sophomore forward James Michael McAdoo can build on his impressive late-season performance, and how often an experienced group of wings led by junior Reggie Bullock can connect from outside. -- Robbi Pickeral
