CGD Eco Challenge

OU Public Transportation: Cleveland Area Rapid Transit (CART), which is open to the OU community and surrounding cities, is a viable alternative to personal transportation. CART transports more than 1.3 million riders annually as the community and campus transportation system. Not only does CART reduce emissions throughout Norman by decreasing the demand for personal vehicles, but it also operates its fleet on either compressed natural gas or biodiesel. Ridership on CART increased 15 percent over the last two years.
