At 6-foot-5 and, at his very best, a lean 235 pounds, there were few heavyweight champions as physically talented as "Big Daddy" Bowe. The battle of the bulge, however, proved to be Bowe's toughest opponent.
The two-time titlist won the heavyweight championship from Evander Holyfield -- whom he would face in three memorable action fights throughout the decade -- in their first meeting in 1992. Bowe's reign, however, ended just seven days shy of a year when Holyfield claimed the rematch by majority decision in Bowe's lone defeat. Bowe won the rubber match -- a nontitle bout -- by knockout in 1995.
