Corners
Take note: The term "corner" comes with an asterisk here. Usually, a corner's makeup is 80 percent trainer and 20 percent "other guys" (cutman, water guy, etc.). But in this case, Chavez's crew includes one of the most legendary fighters of all time, who happens to also be his father. Whether Senior is physically positioned in his son's corner during the fight doesn't matter much. Dad will be enough of a presence (whether along the canvas or in a strategically placed ringside seat) to tilt a deadlock at trainer between Hall of Famer Freddie Roach and up-and-comer Pablo Sarmiento, a great communicator who possesses awesome tactical knowledge and motivational skills.
Advantage: Chavez
