Montee Ball
Running back | WisconsinIf the objective in football is to score touchdowns, then there's no more valuable player than Montee Ball. The Wisconsin senior crossed the goal line 39 times last season, tying Barry Sanders for the FBS single-season record. He also led the nation in rushing yards (1,923) and is the only returning 2011 Heisman Trophy finalist. If Ball -- who suffered a minor concussion when he was assaulted days before training camp -- stays healthy, he's a good bet to break the NCAA career record for touchdowns. And he might just join Ron Dayne in bringing the Heisman to Madison.
